TRWST - To make a noise; to rattle; to rustle; to bluster, to bustle.
TRWST is a creative, rock/alternative-pop, music recording project based in Seattle, WA. Flavorful compositions, with vocal melodies and harmonies tied to an abstract lyrical style, explore the Modern Age Journey.
In 2000, fueled by early childhood piano and guitar lessons, and a lifelong appreciation for music, TRWST began crafting his songwriting approach in the basement studio of a small Fremont house. He collaborated with numerous Seattle-area musicians, recording artists, and songwriters before forming Trwst & the Puget Sound Machine in 2003. After a couple years of live shows, the band released their debut album, Reactor, recorded at the famed Bear Creek Studio, home to artists such as Eric Clapton, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters; and produced by Ryan Hadlock, who would go on to produce The Lumineers' platinum-selling debut album. Trwst & the Puget Sound Machine continued performing live shows throughout the Pacific Northwest before separating in 2006.
Flash forward 11 years to a brave new world of social media and digital recording. What began as a project to make Reactor available online, transitioned to TRWST beginning work on a solo project, Resurfaced, released in December of 2018. Join the mailing list for updates & thanks for the support.
